The Top 5 WORST things you can do at a job interview.

So, a new survey asked hiring managers what the best thing you can do during a job interview. They said to be engaged in the interview and ask questions. Those hiring also want to see your personality and get the feeling you're being authentic.

And the worst:

Here are the top five results...

1.  Saying "I'm nervous"

2.  Wearing inappropriate clothes

3.  Not making eye contact

4.  Checking your phone

5.  Fidgeting and bad posture

I can't say I agree with the order....What about passing gas? Picking your nose? Those could ruin it for you...and them. ;)

You don't expect to see THIS when you enter a restroom.

You would REALLY have to use the rest room after this!

A Kansas woman who was taking a bathroom break Saturday during the Isis Shrine Circus in Salinas says she came face to face with an escaped tiger when she opened the bathroom door.

Jenna Krehbiel told KWCH, she found the tiger standing about 2 feet away upon entering the room. "I turned around calmly and walked back toward the door," she said, crediting her calm reaction to training she had being a social worker. "Someone opened the door and said, 'Get out.'"

The tiger had escaped into the women's restroom despite the effort by staff workers at the event to block the concourses.

Krehbiel's daughter, 3, asked the mom if the tiger washed its hands after using the bathroom, and the mom replied, "Of course." The daughter followed the question with another: Did he have any popcorn? "Yes, he did," she told KWCH

Bacon and butter pudding, tasty...

A woman has to go on a diet during the day because she eats up to 2,500 calories a night in her sleep, The Sun reported.

Lesley Cusack, 55, loves foods like bacon and butter pudding in the middle of the night. The mother of three has to keep herself on a strict diet during the day because at night, she has no control over what she eats.
Cusack, from Warrington, Chesire in the United Kingdom, has a rare sleep disorder called nocturnal sleep-related eating disorder, which finds her eating while sleeping -- and not remembering it the next day.
"I can only tell by the remains in the morning," Cusack said. "Sometimes I've found soup in pans, but also in bowls -- it all can get rather messy."

Cusack said she's tried putting alarms on doors in the hopes it will wake her up -- but it didn't work.

Marijuana in the pill form, better than smoking for pain relief?

A pill form of marijuana may work just as well to relieve pain as the smoked form, but with fewer side effects, new research suggests.

In the study, people who either smoked marijuana or took the drug dronabinol — a pill that contains the active ingredient of marijuana — were able to hold their hands in a bath of ice water (showing that they could tolerate the pain of the cold temperature) for longer than participants who took a placebo.

What's more, the pain-reducing effect of dronabinol lasted longer than that of smoking marijuana, the researchers said. While smoking the drug decreased pain sensitivity for about 2.5, the pill continued to have pain-reducing effects for about 4.5 hours. However, analgesic effects of the pill took about an hour to kick in, compared with about 15 minutes for smoking marijuana.

Medical marijuana is legal in 18 states, and studies have suggested that smoking the drug relieves pain. For instance, a 2010 study found that smoking marijuana eased pain from nerve injuries.

The best ways to top Tator Tot's!

There's something magical about the humble Tater Tot. Some might even argue that it's the perfect food: bite-size, salty, crispy, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, greasy but not overly oily, and a great vessel for just about any topping. Its abundant nooks and crannies allow for nearly limitless surface area (aka more crunch) and it boasts a pillowy interior that french fries can only hope to emulate — let's just say there are many reasons why it's one of our favorite childhood, and adult foods for that matter!

Another reason to watch who you are "Friends" with on Facebook...

A Washington woman inadvertently discovered that her husband had a second wife, when an automated Facebook pop up suggested that the two women become "friends" on the social media network.

According to the Associated Press, the husband in question is Alan L. O'Neill, a 41-year-old corrections officer in Pierce County, Wash. O'Neill reportedly got married to his first wife in 2001, and then in 2009 separated from her, moving out but not formally divorcing or filing for legal separation.
He allegedly then asked his wife to keep quiet about the two marriages, which are a crime under both state and federal laws, promising that he would rectify the situation. Instead, O’Neill’s first wife, who has not been identified in police reports, went to law enforcement authorities with the news. In March of last year, O’Neill was charged with bigamy and placed on administrative leave. If convicted, he faces up to a year in prison.

Novelty or wearable hardware that half of the country has in a few years?

Google is starting to distribute its new Internet-connected glasses, something seen as the next breakthrough in mobile computing.
Google has picked 8,000 people in the U.S. who entered a contest. The winners will have to pay $1,500 apiece for a test version of Google Glass. The company also took an unspecified number of orders from computer programmers.
Google said Wednesday it started making the glasses available Tuesday, though it may take weeks for recipients to get them.
The excitement stems from a belief that Google Glass is at the forefront of a new wave of technology known as "wearable computing." Published reports say that Google, Apple Inc. and others also are working on Internet-connected wristwatches.
Google hopes to lower prices by the time it's on the mass market next year.

Another reason why drinking beer is GOOD!

The taste of beer, without its alcoholic effects, may be enough to trigger the release of the pleasure chemical dopamine in the brain, a study finds.

To see how the taste of beer affects the brain, researchers gave a group of men tiny tastes of beer, and as the men sipped the beer, the researchers scanned the men’s brains. After a taste of beer, the men's brains showed a notable release of dopamine, a brain chemical associated with the pleasurable experience of consuming alcohol and other drugs. The effect was even greater among men who had a family history of alcoholism.

The findings are not surprising, scientists say, but having a way to assess predisposition to alcohol abuse could be useful.

"We believe this is the first experiment in humans to show that the taste of an alcoholic drink alone, without any intoxicating effect from the alcohol, can elicit this dopamine activity in the brain's reward centers," the study's senior author, neuroscientist David Kareken of the Indiana University School of Medicine, said in a statement. The findings were detailed online on April 15 in the journal Neuropsychopharmacology.

So why is a six year old out driving?

Police in Lapeer, Mich., said a 6-year-old boy told officers he was going to pick up Chinese food when they pulled him over as he drove his parents' vehicle.

Several other drivers alerted police to the child driver Saturday morning, The Detroit News reported.
"They told police when they called that it looked like a 6-year-old was driving the car," said Sgt. Andy Engster of the Lapeer County Sheriff's Department. "And they were exactly right."

When officers arrived at the scene, two drivers of other vehicles had boxed in the boy and one driver had reached into the vehicle the boy was driving and taken the keys out of the ignition, Engster said.
The boy, whose name was not reported, told officers that he took the keys off the counter at his home and that he was going to get Chinese food.

He said he had never driven before.

During his joyride, the boy hit a "no left turn" sign and damaged the car.
Police called the boy's father, who came to pick him up.
"He said he was asleep and he didn't even know [his son] was gone," said Engster.
No one was injured during the incident.

Let's round out the week with another food heist....$100,000 in hamburger patties!!

Police in central New Jersey are looking for thieves who made off with $100,000 worth of hamburger patties.

The audacious heist took place between Monday night and Tuesday morning in Linden.
Police tell The Star Ledger of Newark that the thieves stole an entire shipping container from the yard of BMG Logistics.

Some surveillance footage shows a tractor pulling the refrigerated, 40-foot container out of the yard.
The container had been shipped from Kansas City and was en route to the Netherlands. The hamburgers were to be distributed to Hilton Hotels outside the U.S.

I will say this, out of all of the last couple week's food heists (cheese, chocolate spread, and soup), hamburger patties may be the easiest to sell on the black market!

Ladies: You may be better off NOT wearing a bra.

Across the course of history, French discoveries have proved invaluable to the field of science. Children still learn the stories of Louis Pasteur, who discovered that invisibly small bacteria spoil food and cause disease, and Marie Curie, who found and named the unseen power of radioactivity. Now there's one more name to add to the list of geniuses upending the world's assumptions : Professor Jean-Denis Rouillon, who has declared that bras make women's boobs saggy.

Rouillon, who teaches at the Franche-Comté University in Besançon, was recently interviewed by France Info about the results of an in-depth 15-year titty study. Through observations running back to 1997, he claims to have discovered that women who wear bras, a garment intended to defy gravity, actually have saggier boobs than women who don't.
"Medically, physiologically, anatomically—the breast derives no benefit from being denied gravity. On the contrary, it becomes saggier with a bra."

Last week it was cheese, then chocolate spread, now, STOLEN SOUP!

Why are peopling stealing huge loads of food?

Eusebio Diaz Acosta, 51, faces charges of grand theft of cargo worth $50,000 or more and grand theft of a motor vehicle following his arrest early Sunday on the Florida Turnpike, according to authorities.
Broward Circuit Judge John Hurley called the facts of the case "very unusual." "This is the first time the court’s ever seen $75,000 worth of soup stolen," Hurley said Monday.

The Florida Highway Patrol said that it received a report of a stolen tractor trailer hauling soup that was being tracked by GPS, and the tractor trailer driven by Diaz Acosta was pulled over at the 63-mile marker.

Do you find it hard to drink out of those tiny openings on beer cans?

This is actually pretty cool.

A brewing company called "Sly Fox" has released a topless beer can and called it the "360 Lid."  The new 360 Lid works somewhat like a soup can, with a peel-back lid, which exposes a 1.75-inch opening to drink out of.

The company's head brewer Brian O'Reilly said the new lid "allows the full flavor and aroma of the beer to hit the drinker's senses."

Sly Fox is the first American brewer to use the new lid.

The blunted lip has been specially designed to be sipped out of.  For those concerned that the aluminum edge may cut your lip, Brian Thiel, a sales manager for Crown Beverage Packaging North America, said there is no need to worry. "Once the lid is removed, consumers do not come into contact with any rough edges as they drink from the can".

Neat.

Insurance for your speeding tickets, wait, WHAT?

This may be just what you needed! Ticketsbite.com offers you insurance against your traffic violations. You pay a small monthly premium, and if you get a ticket, they pay it for you. Can they really do this?

Their plans start at $8 month for up to $400 a year in ticket coverage. That plan only covers speeding, illegal U-turns, failure to signal, red light or stop sign violations, and seat belt violations. Their top plan costs $29 a month. It gives you up to $1,450-per-year in coverage, and pays tickets for things including texting and driving, parking tickets, and even DUIs.

What doesn’t the insurance cover? Legal fees....OR your real car insurance. Soooo, your tickets may be covered, but your higher auto insurance premiums are up to you! If you go for the basic coverage at $8 a month, that’s $96 a year.

So, it this insurance worth it? Perhaps if you only get one ticket a year. Interesting none the less.

Here's how you have four drinks a day and live until you are 101:

So here we go, the "experts" maintain that women who drink alcohol in moderation have a better chance of staying healthy as they age than non-drinkers, especially if they spread out their consumption over most days of the week.

Well here's a good example that it just may be true:

A lady on Staten Island has four alcoholic beverages a day....and she's 101 years old. Yep. She starts with a couple glasses of wine at lunchtime, followed by a nap of course, hey she IS old. Later on, around 4 p.m., she has a glass of Southern Comfort. After supper she's all about a good 'ol can of Budweiser. Not long after it's night night for this gal.

She's doing well, and she continues her daily routine each day! Makes you feel better about having a couple drinks some days doesn't it? ;)

What could you possibly do with 5 tons of chocolate spread?!

Alright, this gives "sticky fingers" a whole new meaning.

Police said Monday an unknown number of culprits made off with 5.5 tons of Nutella chocolate-hazelnut spread from a parked trailer in the central German town of Bad Hersfeld over the weekend.

The gooey loot is worth an estimated $20,710.

Germans news agency dpa reported that thieves have previously stolen a load of energy drinks from the same location.

These guys must really be addicted to the sugar high!

Chedder, Bacon, Burger, and Glazed and Sprinkled Donut?

If you happen to be in Pittsburgh and are heading to a Pirates game, perhaps you would like to try the all new  bacon-cheddar burger with glazed donuts for buns. The candy sprinkles just give it flare, LOL. Of course you could make one of these yourself at home as well! Personally, I don't like to mix donuts with anything but MILK or JUICE.

My dog ate the money, no, seriously..

It's just a little dirty, IT'S STILL GOOD! IT'S STILL GOOD! (taken from an episode of The Simpsons lol)

A Montana man whose 12-year-old golden retriever ate five $100 bills hopes to be reimbursed by the federal government.

Wayne Klinkel said his dog Sundance ate the bills while he and his wife were on a road trip to visit their daughter. Apparently Klinkel picked through the dog's "dirty work" for pieces of the money, and his daughter recovered more when the snow melted. Ewwwwwww. He says he washed the remnants of the bills and taped them together and sent them to the Treasury Department's Bureau of Engraving and Printing with an explanation of what happened. The bureau's website says an "experienced mutilated currency examiner" will determine if at least 51 percent of a bill is present and eligible for reimbursement. The process can take up to two years.

No one wants to lose five-hundred in cold, hard, cash, but sometimes you just take the loss and move on.

Weight gain for women...on PURPOSE.

Hey ladies, trouble getting a date? Perhaps you need to put on a few pounds and get some curves! Apparently back in the 1930's it wasn't easy to get laid if you were skinny. Hence the diet fad from back in the day of ironized yeast tablets, sure to put the pounds on fast and get you on a date! Funny how times have changed haven't they?

If you're 38 and you're dating a 20 yr old are you a creeper? LOL

Well, if you are 18 it's up to you right? Bradley Cooper, notorious for his "Hangover" movies, among many others, has been seen with british model Suki Waterhouse who is 20. For the sake of the question, let's just say they are officially dating.

Weird or just two people in love? Of course, we could put a spin on this and it could be an older woman with a younger guy...would you feel the same way about the age difference?

I say congrats man, if you are happy and she digs you, awesome. Although, it probably stinks you can't even take her out for a drink in most places...legally. Also, the first Hangover was awesome.

Want to lose weight? How about a toilet paper diet?

So it's no secret that super models do whatever it takes to stay thin, but this has got to be one of the most ODD ways to assist in staying deathly skinny. They eat tissue. Yeah. TP! Hmmmm, I want to get thin what to do, what to do? I know! I'll buy a twenty-four pack of toilet paper at the quicky mart instead of four pack and I'll CONSUME what I don't "use".

It's bad enough that some of these models go through the binge and purge process, but eating tissue?? It doesn't provide any nutrition, but it certainly helps them feel full. There is no way this can be good for you! Oh, and how about, YUCK?!! Wasn't there an episode of "Taboo" recently where a girl at tissue? Well she wasn't a super model LOL.

Oh yeah, another anorexic skinny super model trick on "staying full" is dipping cotton balls in orange juice and eating them. Now THAT sounds enticing!

Good or bad? "Tan Mom" story leads to tanning teen banning.

Chris Christie, the governor of Tan Mom's home state of New Jersey, has signed a bill into law banning children under 17 from using commercial tanning beds.

Tan Mom—whose real name is actually Patricia Krentcil—got the quaint nickname from the tabloids after she was accused by officials of taking her 5-year-old daughter into a tanning booth after the girl showed up to school with burns on her skin.

Tan Mom denied the accusations and she was let off the hook by the jury, but not with Gov. Christie, apparently.

"The new restrictions imposed by this bill followed a single but breathlessly reported incident of a parent bringing a minor child into a tanning facility," Governor Christie said.

Previously, New Jersey was one of several states that prohibited individuals under 14 from hopping under UV lights to get a faux-glow because of the risk of skin cancer. But Christie is upping that ante. The new law even bans tweens under 14 from getting spray tans in tanning salons.

Well, isn't this really up to the parents? First no large sugary drinks in NYC, now no teen tanning in NJ? Come on people, be responsible!

Do you think I'm going to convert to a Packers and Brewers fan now?

Well here I am living in Wisconsin (although nestled up next to my home state of MN lol), and I'm faced with a few questions! First let's get a few things straight:

NFL:
Do I like the Vikings? Yes, although you might call me a fair weather fan, but I do support the team.
Are they my favorite team? Well....no. I lived in Colorado for couple years and I am Broncos fan first.

MLB:
Do I like the Twins? Yes, and it's almost impossible to have as bad of a season this year as they did the last! The new Target Stadium is awesome no matter how you look at things though. Again, having spent time in Colorado I did become a Rockies fan, but this year I'm hoping the Twins really go somewhere.

Now....Will I become a Packers and Brewers fan and blend in with my neighbors here in Southwest Wisconsin? That's a question only time will tell my friends. Let's start with the Brewers and go from there...
